Though one might find it shocking that Webcenter Content still makes use of Java applets for administration we still have to keep them running to get Webcenter Content and Oracle UCM working in a modern browser.

One might find that you see this error.


Oracle Webcenter Content Error: Runtime error: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied ("java.util.PropertyPermission" "user.timezone"."write").

But in addition you might want to add this because we have found that copying and pasting in the admin applets does not work with the standard java settings. Modify C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_144\lib\security.java
